I am a Business Management graduate with just over eight years of experience conducting qualitative research and data analysis. The research work i have done has been largely qualitative in nature and now I am expanding my skillset to quantitative data analysis through the MSc programme I am currently pursuing.

My overall role is coordinating the implementation of the process evaluation of an ongoing pilot study in a district in Zimbabwe. My responsibilities as an officer include: Organising data collection activities in the district, ensuring the data collected is of high quality and collected ethically and according to stipulated timelines specified in the protocol. I am also responsible for safeguarding the collected data, analysis of the qualitative data, producing technical reports and contributing towards publications communicating our findings from the study.
Under the overall supervision of the research coordinator as the Team Leader I was responsible for managing and supervising the team allocated to me. My role was to ensure the study was implemented according to the approved protocol and safeguarding the wellbeing of my team, the survey participants and the survey equipment and specimens collected.
As a Research Outreach Worker I worked in a team of three to identify, recruit, and train over 400 study participants in two cities for a longitudinal study which ran for 14 months. I was also responsible to conducting follow ups with the participants and keeping them engaged in the study for the duration of the study and we managed to retain 67% until the end of the study. Other responsibilities in the role included conducting qualitative interviews with selected participants, translating and transcribing the interviews for analysis and finally, analysing the collected data.
Was part of the in-country research team of three (3) who were contracted by Oxfam Zimbabwe to evaluate the success of the WeCare project in Bubi and Masvingo. We conducted individual interviews, focus group discussions and inter-generational trio interviews with 87 participants in two weeks.Translated and transcribed all the interviews, focus group discussions, and inter-generational trio interview recordings verbatim.
My responsibilities as a programs and administrative assistant included documenting activities, preparing presentations, proofreading draft documents, taking meeting minutes and report writing. I also assisted with day-to-day administrative processes to ensure the success of program activities and exercised oversight of log sheets related to the use of project vehicles and cross-checking with the driver to ensure that vehicles were maintained according to schedule. On the programming side I was responsible for equipment distribution and tracking, maintaining the training logs, baseline abstraction tool data collation. I also liaised with Nurses in charge from 41 clinics where the Electronic Health Records project was rolled out. Testing the system as relevant and providing feedback to software developers as appropriate was also my responsibility.
