Directing all operational aspects including distribution, customer service, human resources, administration and sales in accordance with the company's objectives. Providing training, coaching, development and motivation for branch personnel.
Responsible for maintaining and implementing essential human resource and administrative systems within the company to enable the company to function smoothly and effectively. Proactively taking responsibility for making systems and things work, for example procuring and managing the relationship and performance of external suppliers and service providers.
Dealing with all of the recruitment needs & employment issues of the company. Ensuring the timely recruitment of new employees into the business from the initial job offer being made through to their induction into the company including offer letters and contracts etc.
Assisting in the administration of company policy and HR procedures.
Provide office support, clerical duties and activities of a general nature in support of the department. Receiving and directing telephone calls and visitors. Provide information and assistance to other departments. Distribute incoming and outgoing mail, perform a variety of records management duties and word processing duties.
Perform routine clerical duties as instructed by the research supervisor. Assist in administrative duties such as compiling and analysing data and writing reports. Assist in the practical roll-out of a HIV/AIDS community program and impart basic knowledge about HIV/AIDS and relevant issues to fellow peers in the community. Encourage participation in all facets of the program amongst peers, particularly the awareness, counselling and testing programs. Refer peers to appropriate service providers where necessary.
