I worked for Goal Zimbabwe (NGO) and United Nations Development Program as a social scientist from the year 2008 to 2012. Mainly to • Provided technical field support to government and NGOs in the designing and implementation of assessment tools, assessment exercises, monitoring, and evaluation of humanitarian interventions.
• Provided technical support and assistance to the implementing partners in analyzing humanitarian and disaster-related issues which resulted in setting Climate Change and Early Warning Systems in provinces such as Chiredzi and drought resilient programs such as crocodile farming, small grains, and cassava farming.
• Attended regular meetings of the government, UN, NGOs, and Civil Society actors on disaster management and climate change adaptation.
• Supported community-based initiatives on disaster preparedness and response such farming of drought resistant crops.

Education
Master of Science Development Studies. The course was for 2 years and it had a taught component and a full dissertation.
The course was for three years and I wrote a mini- dissertation in my final year.
Is a fellowship on population and health issues. I have co-authored research articles which are under review for publication and have also presented at various conferences.
