Role duites: • Overseeing and optimizing the processes involved in the extraction of the metals . • Analysed the composition of ores, raw materials and the metal during and after the process to determine the suitable processing method and metallurgical properties • Designed and implemented the most appropriate extraction method and proposed new work approaches, methods, and policies to optimize performance and to ensure adherence to industry regulations and organizational standards • Developed process flow sheet, equipment specifications, operating procedures and standards, compliance requirements, and policies • Monitored and controlled process parameters to ensure optimal performance of the process • Carried out the Metallurgical accounting and Metallurgical troubleshooting • Reconciled metal accounting reports and analysed variance in metal grade and recovery • Technically analysed process deviations in the operations and making recommendations where necessary • Acted as an advisor to a variety of internal requests which involved metal extraction • Participated in task forces related to mineral processing • Prepared technical reports and documentation to ensure compliance with industry and operational requirements • Assisted with training and skill development on technical issues in metallurgy • Assisted and supported the metallurgical lab in maintaining and preserving data • Assisted in the management of plant staff and ensured that the team was working safely and effectively to maximize the processing of the ore.
